Heard this one by Schubert the other day, on the old time radio station that I listen to (They play classical music as filler, between programs). It’s a nice piano piece. I’ll bet you could do it justice, Christina. But it does seem as if it would be a more advanced piano piece. The Asian fellow in the video, does a good job though.

I'm glad you liked it! I'm not that up to speed in my piano skills, but it sounds nice! I always wanted to play the violin, anyway. Thanks for your faith in my music skills, though!

Ahh. I thought that the keyboard was your primary instrument. I guess if I had to determine which instrument was the more difficult to play, I’d have to say that it’s probably the violin. Something about striking the proper cords, by playing the strings just right, seems as if it would be a tricky instrument to play. But I wouldn’t know, never having played such an instrument.

Practicing violin was not exactly as painful as advancing on piano, but that might partly be due to that I stopped playing it as my thing and recent experience and weird situations of the past. Yea, people say, "It's never too late to learn the piano." I feel a bit lost, now, but happy as a person. I watched a video on YouTube once and it said violin was the hardest instrument. I actually did it when I was 18 in a group class in college and meant to continue. Piano chords seem rather easy for me, subtract I stopped playing. It's still developed in me, but it's probably more work now. It's hard to find certain kinds of good books for learning violin. I'm backed by having learned piano, knowing things I wish I did, like stick with it more, for one. I feel all set up to learn in older age, age 34, started again at 29, one month before turning 30, which my birthday is May 20th! Music theory is easy because I know piano and some things I seem to know about music theory are comfortable feeling backwards, forwards, rightside and inside out. After all, college music theory started quickly teaching us to read music, at least at Loyola University New Orleans. Some colleges, you can start as a beginner in music I think, like most community colleges, which is where I'm going to go when I move from Orlando to the New Orleans area, to a group home. I lived in the New Orleans area age 12 until I left for college, in New Orleans though. The city I'm going to is where Ellen DeGeneres is from, too. Speaking of Ellen DeGeneres, she's had a lot of young musicians on her show, it seems pianists and string players, like from England and Asia/Asian-Americans. So, yea, lots to talk about there! Are you a connoisseur of classical music? Would you learn piano or pick up another instrument? Just wondering, you seem to like listening to it, but there are lots of things to do. Sometimes, I get jealous of people in snow sports, like skiing or the one where you twirl on a board. I was gonna do it on Wii, at least. Skiing seems dangerous like riding a horse and I thought something to start as a juvenile, at least, or a kid or small child even maybe. After all, I did gymnastics, starting at age 13/4. I feel I have a lot of stamina in power from it and things like that.

Lately, the only time I catch it, however (outside of the downloaded archives that I have on my PC) is when I listen to the old time radio station, when they play it in between programs. I actually have a really nice Yamaha DX-27 analog synthesizer. I got it years ago, but never learned how to play it. I’ll probably sell it on Ebay at some point. No, I probably won’t bother to learn another musical instrument at this point in my life.

I got put in piano at 9 when I wanted to do violin at 6.
