I'm 1/2 Asian, but, if you encounter a full Asian, they are "a pillar of strength," and no one denies their heritage.

For certain. Strong family ties, and hard and successful business people. Many save, and come to the US to initially form coops. So say, 3 or 4 families come here, and purchase a store, or other business together. The individual families continue to save, and strike out on their own, to purchase further business interests.
I remember when I was a kid, there was a Chinese fellow that owned the store right on the corner of our block, practically next door to us. Daniel Wong. Heck of a nice guy. He also owned the home right behind us. I later found out that he owned the apartment complex across the street. And these are the only business interests that I was aware of. He might have owned even more!
Funny, but for years, even after we moved away, and later he did too, we still received a Christmas card from him every year, for many years.

Yea, I see businesses where Asians are involved more. You're making me hungry, BTW, and I don't know what to order from the grocery store for the rest of March. "Not to mention," Asian restaurants you see a few Asian guys having their own fun talking in Chinese. That sounds like a cool guy and nice. Yea, they've gotten friendly with me. One of them died, though. I remember feeling sad I didn't feel good enough to work and teach his kids piano, and I didn't feel up to joining on a family vacation, still a hectic, confusing life.
